Oh the Crazy Life We Live

It sure has been a while since I have blogged so lets catch up... life has been nuts.. I got married and everything went off without a hitch! Always a plus. I can defiantly say that with the stress it caused that I would not want to do it again. (pictures at the end) Then we went to Disney. It was pretty much awesome! We had such a blast! The rest of the summer has been filled with plenty of things such as creation, busy weekends, family get together, love and excitement! Now has started the back to the grind time. Nate is back into school full time so I have taken on baking... Last week I made apple pie!!!! this week Im not sure yet but I will be sure to post pictures on here! Heres a little taste of our summer!

Busy Busy Busy!

Life... Has just been crazy! So much has been going on with life and such that I have not had time to share! My Bridal shower was on the 8th of May and that kind of kicked everything into wedding gear. It was a lot of fun and exciting to be surrounded by family and friends that love you. We got a lot of cool things and are so excited to start using them!!! In fact we have used a lot of them already! I cannot wait til Nathan moves in so that I can use them on a more regular basis. Soon enough! After my shower, well two days after on the 10th I graduated from college. That was fun! Our speaker was Terri Thomas and he of course was great! He kept us all entertained and was exciting! It was so nice to have that special day. I will miss some of the girls who I spent many days and late nights with and I will miss them! I will see them again soon though!!!!
The next week... Nates graduation!!!!! I am so proud of him! He got so many cords and did really well in college!!! So exciting!!!! Oh!!! and we managed to get all the center pieces done.. all the presents are wrapped and now all we have to do is to finish the calls and do the gift (which cant be done until right before the wedding) This shall be a fun 25 days!!!!! I cannot wait

bad day....

Have you ever had one of those days where nothing goes right? I mean nothing... it all started out with me waking up way to early and not being able to fall asleep. Then I got to drive to New Castle to find out that person did not need to be there til June.. arg... So I was taking it in strides... When I went to back up.. Someone decided to hit the back of my car.... wow.. luckily it wasnt that bad... But still.. it shook me up a lot... So after all that... I drove back to work and work was ok... The highlight of my day..... being thankful that I work for the Lighthouse. I realized today that when so many places will turn you away with nothing because you dont fit their program, we can help them find something. These are people too. They need some love and someone to care for them too...
Soooo... the rest of my day.... Went to get my glasses.. thought that would be exciting.. well not really! I got them home and of course.. the lenses were broke! what the crap.... to top everything off.. I had a situation.. lets just say people who dont know you can be vicious... and then someone else ends up blaming it on me.. apparently this is all my fault... why not.. and to top everything off, I really dont feel that well..... have a paper to write.... AND 2 make up assignments to do tonight.... Sounds like this is going to be a nice long night.. Im just waiting for something else to go wrong... lifes ironic isnt it?

wedding fun!!!

This weekend was full of wedding!!! to begin... Steve and Jaime got married!!! Of course... everything was beautiful and elegant! Their first dance.... loved it!!! so congrats to them and hopefully they are enjoying their honeymoon...


After the wedding things had to be thought about for my wedding!!!! So on saturday.... we went to pick up our flowers for the wedding! SOOOOOOO that evening... since my shower is SATURDAY !!!! ( i know!!!!) I decided since I was making my own thank-you cards.. I should get a start on that one. So... while Nate was working on his homework, I decided to do them! The process.... a long one.. it began with gluing 75 pieces of paper to another 75 pieces of paper... Not fun.. Then came stamping.. let me tell ya.. stamping was not as fun or easy as I thought it would have been.. In the end.. everything worked out though.. here is the final result


and after that... since nate was still working on hw.. I decided to adventure onto out idea for the table.. the getting a picture part.. easy.. the making a quote on each card.. no so easy.. not only was it messy.. but none of the stamps went the way they were supposed to.. I suppose this will become a project for another day.. along with about 10000000 other things that need to be done! More to come!

Flying By

So, we have come down to the end of the semester... unfortunately, this is also the time that I was thinking to myself, I think that I should really get back to blogging... SOoooo... I am going to try to do both.
School has always been crazy. My one class has taught me a lot... we were able to cover so many different topics but as the end of the semester roles around I get to think about the huge project that I have been neglecting to do.
Along with that, its almost wedding time! 53 days until the big day. I am so thankful to have such a great fiancee who helps me out with all of the wedding detials. I have been so blessed not to have to plan this wedding alone. He was great and put together a couple of centerpieces! Now all we have to do is get together the last minute details that remain.
Only 2 weeks til graduation for the both of us!!!! Time sure flys by! more to come!
